Saturday Road Win for Hurricanes

The Hampton Hurricanes earned their fourth win in a row defeating the Western Valley Panthers 5 – 2 Saturday night in Hartland .

With no scoring in the first Panthers Carter Taylor assisted by Matt Ward gave Western Valley a one goal lead with 5:12 left in the second . Not to be out done Hampton’s Chris Harford found an open Scott Lloyd with 1:23 left in period two , who went top shelf to tie the game .
Western Valley regained a one goal lead early in the third as Jake Lamoreau scored on the power play . Hampton tied the game less than 5 minutes later as Matt Bennett and Brad Hooper combined to find Evan LeBlanc for his power play marker . It was all Hampton for the rest of the third , Brad Hooper assisted by Riley Thompson and Jessie Prescott put Hampton up by one. With 1:18 left to play Evan LeBlanc sent Kyle Dobson to the net making it a 4-2 score . Chris Forbes sealed the deal with an empty netter for a 5-2 Hurricane road win.
Panthers Jon Snow faced 42 shots in a losing effort . Matt Ingraham earned the win for Hampton facing 28 shots .
The Hurricanes are back on home ice Sat Nov 8 at the Hampton Community Center facing off against the visiting Fredericton Caps . Game time is 8:15.
