Hurricanes Split Weekend Games

The Hampton Hurricanes saw back to back NBJHL action on the weekend, with games on the road and at home.

 The Hurricanes defeated the Fundy Cobra’s 5-3 on Friday night. Five Hurricanes had a two point night. Chris Harkiolakis, Jackson Chamberlain and Kyle Dobson reregistered a goal and an assist each. Jared Kyle added two assists, while Evan Leblanc and Thomas Rice added singles. Chris Forbes and Brad Hooper were credited with an assist each. Scoring for the Cobra’s were Justin Maybe, Anders Blizzard and Jeff Brown, all unassisted.
Andrew Rodgers earned the Hampton win stopping 23 shots. Michel Boucher suffered the Fundy loss facing 34 shots.
Back home on Saturday night  the Hurricanes faced off against The Hotel Shediac Predators who came away with 4-0 win. Both teams put on a show with fast paced hard hitting hockey but in the end it was the Predators who were the only team to change the score board.
Maxime Michaud earned the Shediac win turning away 27 shots. Matt Ingram took the loss stopping 28 shots.  
The Hurricanes next home games is Saturday, November 29th against the Western Valley Panthers. Game time is 8:15 pm.
