ShareHurricanes Wrap Up 2014 With Win at Home

After suffering an 11-2 loss at the hands of the Fredericton Caps in their final game before Christmas the Hurricanes won their last game of 2014 with an 11-3 victory over the visiting Sunny Corner Thunder Saturday night .Chris Forbes with 3 goals , 1 assist and Brad Hooper 1 goal and 3 assist led the way for the Hurricanes . Matt Bennett added 2 goals from the point, Brenden Crawford and Matt Porter contributed a goal and an assist each . Kyle Dobson , Thomas Rice , and Ben Shephard added singles while Evan LeBlanc and Matt Lutes reregister 2 assist each and Jacob Bass with one assist .
Scoring for Sunny Corner were Luke Silliker with 2 goal , Alex Sippey added a single marker . Matt Losier, Jonathon Tozer , Jon Carrol , and Dustin McKay assisted on the goals
Matt Ingraham earned the Hampton Win stopping 22 shots . Troy Chubbs took the loss turning away 41 shots
The Hurricanes will start 2015 on home ice Saturday Jan 3rd at the Hampton Community Center where they will host the Sackville Storm with an 8:15 game time
