After the first two games of the Best of Five NBJHL Jr C Final between the Western Valley Panthers and the Hampton Hurricanes the series is tied at a game apiece.

After the first two games of the Best of Five NBJHL Jr C Final between the Western Valley Panthers and the Hampton Hurricanes the series is tied at a game apiece.On Saturday Night in Hartland the Hurricanes were the winners of Game One defeating the Panthers 3 –2 in O/T .
Jared Brooks and Ryan Dunlevy combined to set up Jon Cheney for a power play marker midway through the first giving the Panthers the lead after one  .
Hampton’s Thomas Rice tied the game early in the second on the power play , defense partners Ben Shephard and Jesse Prescott assisted on the goal . Western Valley regained the lead before the end of the second on a goal from Kevin Anderson with Josh Arsenault and Jared DeMerchant receiving assist .
Midway through the third once again it was Hurricane Thomas Rice notching his second power play goal assisted by ben Shephard and Brad Hooper to send the game into overtime .   
With nothing being decided in the first O/T period , Chris Forbes set James Hill in front of the Panthers net to seal the Hurricane win with 8:13 left in the second O/T .
Hampton’s Matt Ingraham faced 39 shots for the win while Patrick Godreau faced 59 shots for the loss .
Play resumed in Hampton on Sunday afternoon with Western Valley taking control of the score clock . Five different Panthers put markers on the board with seven players being credited with assists, giving the Panthers a 5 - 0 win. Hampton out shot the Panthers 43 – 40.
Game Three is to be played in Hartland 
Monday night with a start time of 7:45 PM.
